Your child will learn basic techniques in painting, drawing and collage, with an eco-friendly twist. Reflexology for the Young ChildAmy Kreydin will demonstrate a Reflexology routine appropriate for the young child or toddler that can be incorporated into the bedtime routine. Self-help techniques for bedwetting, teething, colds and constipation will be included. Come with your questions for Amy about using this complementary modality for your child’s wellness care.

The birth of every child has the potential to be a beautiful, transformative experience. This class will focus on birth as a healthy and normal event, emphasizing natural pain relief methods by practicing relaxation techniques, movement and positions for each stage of labor and birth, visualization techniques, and other comfort measures. We will also discuss anatomy & physiology, the roles of hormones in pregnancy and labor, how to recognize early labor, and the stages of labor and birth. In addition, we will touch upon breastfeeding, newborns, and postpartum care.

Sargent L. Goodchild, Jr., Executive Director of Active Healing, Inc., will discuss vaccines and the side of the story not covered by the popular media. Among the subjects he will cover are: alternate vaccine schedules, how to vaccinate more safely through supplementation, and a look at high quality web resources.  Attendes should expect to leave with a much broader knowledge of vaccines and tools to help prevent vaccine reactions.
