Among the subjects he will cover are: alternate vaccine schedules, how to vaccinate more safely through supplementation, and a look at high quality web resources. Attendes should expect to leave with a much broader knowledge of vaccines and tools to help prevent vaccine reactions.

The birth of every child has the potential to be a beautiful, transformative experience. This class will focus on birth as a healthy and normal event, emphasizing natural pain relief methods by practicing relaxation techniques, movement and positions for each stage of labor and birth, visualization techniques, and other comfort measures. We will also discuss anatomy & physiology, the roles of hormones in pregnancy and labor, how to recognize early labor, and the stages of labor and birth. In addition, we will touch upon breastfeeding, newborns, and postpartum care.

We’ll explain the environmental impact (did you know it takes 500 years for a typical disposable diaper to decompose?); the economic advantages (Disposables cost around $1600 per year, while cloth diapers tend to cost between $300 and $1000); how many diapers you’ll need to start; which cloth diapers will work best for you; how to care for cloth diapers; and anything else about cloth diapering you’re dying to know! In this course you will learn CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for infants (birth to 1 year of age) and children (1 year to 8 years of age), Choke saving skills, rescue breathing and CPR for people over the age of 8.
Class includes a book, materials, and a Key Chain Face Shield. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a CPR card valid for (2) years.
Class fee is $50. Make checks payable to When Seconds Count. If you need to pay by credit card you can call or stop by CGB
